PEPtBO ANNUAL FALL FUNDRAISING DINNER 2015
The 15th annual PEPtBO fundraising dinner was held on 24th October at The Waring House. It was a windy, rainy night, so our long term volunteer, Janine McManus and bander-in-charge, David Okines, were able to join the other ninety guests.
After a delicious dinner, Mike Burrell gave us a very informative presentation about The Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas of Ontario. Mike made us all realize how important our work at the bird observatory has been over the past twenty-one years.
As usual, the many silent auction and bucket draw items on offer were handed out to the highest bidders. The years of practice seemed to all come together making many people pleased with their purchases. Special thanks go to Frank Morahan for selling the bucket draw tickets.
PEPtBO would also like to Thank our donors. Without them this evening wouldn't be possible.
