Community volunteers of all ages (-it’s family friendly-) join scientists and experts to record all the living species in an area

MILLER FAMILY NATURE RESERVE (noon till noon June 10-11)
Registration begins at 11 AM Saturday and continues throughout the event

Registration begins at 11 AM at the East Gate of the property (there will be signs to help you locate it)
Noon: BioBlitz begins
Introduction to the site by Dick Bird of the Hastings-Prince Edward Land Trust
12:00 - 2:00 PM Cheryl Chapman will have displays of bird and other animal skulls for identification
12:30 - 4:00 Build a bluebird nesting box to take home
12:30 - David Bree - Looking for Dragonflies and Butterflies and whatever else we can find
2:00 - Natural history walk - What plants and animals can we discover?
3:30 - Natural history exploration - pond life
5:30 - 7:00 Chili dinner and wiener roast at Base Camp
7:00 - Evening Bird Identification Walk with Peter Fuller
8:45 - Listening for Whip-poor-wills (and maybe a Chuck-wills-widow?)
9:30 - Moth Study begins
11:00 - Base Camp closes until the morning

12:00 - BioBlitz ends; Summation of Results and BBQ Lunch - Base Camp
