Ashley Jensen
STATION MANAGER & BANDER-IN-CHARGE
Ashley developed a passion for birds while completing her Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology in her hometown of Missoula, Montana. Doing volunteer field work with birds during her studies started a passionate commitment to wild birds and their conservation. She has now spent over a decade working with and studying birds, including the completion of a Master’s in Biology with a focus in Wildlife Population Ecology at the University of Lethbridge. When not working, her other interests - birding, hiking, and art - are still mostly centered around birds and other aspects of the natural world. Ashley is keen to bring more research focused projects to PEPtBO with the hope to increase the positive impact PEPtBO can have on the conservation of wild birds.

Over the years, she has expanded her knowledge and is now the Owl Bander during the fall season. With the support of many, she also coordinates the Youth Ornithology Career Orientation (YOCO) program. Ketha feels most fulfilled when she's with the birds and fellow "bird nerds."

With experience working in marketing for small, purpose-driven brands, Cristina enjoys contributing her skills to the environmental nonprofit sector. When she’s not working with PEPtBO, she can often be found foraging, canning, or swimming like a fish in the local waters.
